On Saturday, I covered a wedding in Surrey but the Bride and Groom had no idea that I was their wedding photographer. Shamini and Senthooran planned a very simple ceremony at Leatherhead Registry office with just a couple of guests but Shamini’s brother surprised them with a photographer, a cake from Patisserie Valerie and several more guests. Shamini was very sweet when I arrived and only after I had been taking pictures of her for a while did she ask me who I was. I do love the red of a wedding Sari and the bride kept her accessories simple. However a last minute intervention from the sister-in-law saw her petite bouquet get the same treatment as the weddings plans and it was made grander. The couple seemed very happy with their day that really came together thanks to their very lovely families.
